Hankins Promoted to Central Regional Vice President

Interstate Engineering is pleased to announce the promotion of Charles Hankins to Central Regional Vice President. The Board of Directors voted Thursday, June 22, to promote Hankins to the management role.

“Charlie has been an asset to the company since he joined us in 2017,” said Wade Senger, Principal Engineer and Board Secretary. “He has built lasting client relationships as well as developed strong working relationships with coworkers. Charlie is connected to the community and the region through his work and his interests. His ambition and personable attitude lend themselves well to the role of Regional Vice President. We believe Charlie will continue to drive the region in a positive direction.”

“Having led the Beulah office for the past few years, I am excited to add cohesion to the central region,” said Hankins. “Interstate Engineering is made up of people working as a team. Being able to lead an already vibrant group will provide opportunities for clients, coworkers, and the company.”

Hankins, a Beulah resident, started with Interstate Engineering in 2017. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and is a Registered Professional Engineer in North Dakota. Hankins has focused his time working with various municipalities and counties to upgrade and improve infrastructure.

“My wife brought me to North Dakota to raise our family. Moving back was one of the smartest decisions we have made. Knowing the work Interstate Engineering impacts my family, neighbors, and coworkers is a driving factor in ensuring our company works to the level of professionalism clients have come to expect. Having the opportunity to highlight our abilities to be a community company of talented and dedicated people is an honor,” said Hankins.

Hankins’s position as Central Regional Vice President is effective as of July 4, 2021.
