Interstate Engineering is proud to announce and welcome Manny Rodriguez to the Sheridan Office. As an Engineering Technician, Rodriguez joins the team with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Drafting and Design from Casper College. Manny specializes in GIS and Civil Design. Jorgenson Joins Survey Team

Robin Jorgenson Expands the Belfield Team Interstate Engineering has expanded survey services with the addition of Robin Jorgenson to the Belfield, North Dakota, office. Jorgenson has been brought on as a Survey Party Chief. With over a decade of experience working in the survey field, he brings a strong understanding of construction surveying, pipeline surveying, and topographic surveying to the team. Jorgenson holds an Associate of Applied Science degree from Southeast Technical Institute. Operation Prairie Dog

On Wednesday March 20, 2019, Governor Doug Burgum signed House Bill 1066c an infrastructure bill also known as”Operation Prairie Dog,” into law. That is great news for North Dakota as this bill will provide a source of sustainable funding for the future for North Dakota Cities, Counties, Townships, and Airports for infrastructure projects. The funds would first be available for projects in the summer of 2021. The infrastructure “buckets” may fill to $250 million total, distributing up to $115 million to cities, $115 million to counties and townships, and $20 million for airport infrastructure. Clay Tarrant Earns Professional Land Surveyor Designation

Spearfish Surveyor Numbers On the Rise Clay Tarrant, a Land Surveyor with Interstate Engineering, was recently awarded his Professional Land Surveyor License in the State of South Dakota. To become licensed, Tarrant was required to pass the South Dakota Land Surveyor Examination, testing his knowledge of statutes, rules, and regulations regarding professional land surveying. Tarrant works in the Spearfish, South Dakota, office has experience surveying throughout the Black Hills area. He has been a member of the Interstate Engineering team since 1994. Before joining the team, Tarrant was a member of the US Forest Service. Congratulations on your achievement Clay!
