Bute Stadium Renovation & Track Reconstruction

Interstate Engineering was selected to perform preliminary and construction engineering on the North Dakota State College of Science campus in Wahpeton, North Dakota.
The project consisted of the renovation of the existing concrete football/track stadium, including new bleacher seats, new railing, new precast concrete stadia planks, and also the reconstruction of the running track, including a three-foot sub-cut of the material under the track; replacing it with three feet of granular material, bituminous surfacing, and a new rubberized track surfacing.
Interstate Engineering provided preliminary engineering services, including completing a project concept report and plans. In addition, we offered coordination between various entities, including the North Dakota State College of Science, Wahpeton Public Schools, and the Richland County Highway Department, among others. Interstate Engineering also performed all of the construction engineering services.
