KC Hall Demolition
Wahpeton, North Dakota
Interstate Engineering provided plans, specifications, and construction observation for demolishing a 120-year-old building.
Due to unsafe conditions, the Knights of Columbus building in downtown Wahpeton was demolished. Originally housing the National Guard armory, the building was declared structurally unsound in 2015. The project included the design of plans and specifications for the demolition of the Knights of Columbus Hall. Due to the age of the building, asbestos abatement was also needed.
The lot was converted into a community green space.
