Richland County Bridge Inspections

The steel truss bridge was impacted by a tree mass during spring flooding, causing the bridge trusses to deflect downriver and damaging several members. Along with the damage to the trusses, the approach grading on one end of the bridge washed out, damaging the abutment and the piling. Interstate Engineering reviewed the bridge inspection report and the bridge and worked with Richland County to evaluate options to repair the bridge, ultimately recommending options to replace the bridge to provide a safe crossing.
