Reid Hastings Joins Team as Surveyor & Drafter Interstate Engineering has expanded survey services with the addition of Reid Hasting to the Mandan, North Dakota, office. Hastings will serve as a Survey Technician and CADD Technician. Graduating in the spring of 2019 from Bismarck State College, Hastings holds an Associate of Applied Science degree from Bismarck State College. “I hope to be an outstanding employee,” said Hasting of his goals for his career with Interstate Engineering. Aaron Hummert, a Professional Land Surveyor with Interstate Engineering, was awarded the Survey Excellence Award by the North Dakota Society for Professional Land Surveyors (NDSPLS). He was presented the award on Thursday, February 7 at the 40th Annual NDSPLS Convention in Grand Forks. The award recognizes the efforts Aaron has made to further the Professional Land Surveying field. Nominated by peers, the award looks at service to the profession, service outside of the profession, survey activities, publications, legislative efforts, recognition as a professional leader, organization memberships, and other contributing activities.
