Office Manager | Senior Project Engineer
Why Did you choose Civil Engineering?
I was studying Physics in college but couldn't imagine spending my life in a lab. I took a statics class and discovered the application of physics to real world problems in structural engineering.
What is the greatest lesson you have learned since working for Interstate Engineering?
Always treat everyone involved in a project as part of the team. If you start a project assuming you will have an adversarial relationship with someone, contractor, co-worker, etc., you'll end up fighting with them by the end.
- Education: BS in Civil Engineering, University of Minnesota | BA in Physics/Math, Luther College

Outside of Interstate Engineering, Where are you?
Often you'll find me in Minneapolis at a concert, play, or sporting event, but If it's summer, I'm in our pool.
