Doing the right thing is the foundation of what motivates Damon. Listening to his mentor, he strives for honesty and always takes the high road, which is much less crowded. He may also fill the potholes and plan for a mill and overlay along the way.

Damon started with Interstate Engineering over 35 years ago, with a brief venture into the public sector. He soon learned that consulting engineering allowed him to know clients, positively impact lives, and work on various projects from municipal to Departments of Transportation and from water and sewer to track and field. Damon's commitment to honesty led him to a leadership position at Interstate Engineering, currently serving as Chairman of the Board. Not one to offer half measures, Damon has led the firm and its clients to great success.

Outside of Interstate Engineering

Family is always Damon's priority. He and his family enjoy the many outdoor opportunities in the Wahpeton area, from lake time to hunting and fishing. He is often found on the lake catching walleye or in the fields scaring up pheasants.
