The City of Wahpeton contracted with Interstate Engineering to conduct a feasibility study for an area of land in the heart of commercial development along Highway 210. The Westside Master Plan has Interstate Engineering working with the city to identify development possibilities, market constraints, and community needs that may facilitate investment within the planning area. A variety of interviews and meetings with area developers, real estate agents, Planning Board, and local builders, coupled with demographic, socio-economic, and local business analysis is providing the City of Wahpeton with an updated area plan that will allow the city to spur investment in the targeted area.
