Cody Galloway, from our Spearfish team, successfully completed the process and examination to become an ASFPM Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM®). As a CFM, Cody has shown a proven level of expertise in floodplain mapping, requirements and standards of the National Flood Insurance Program and at the state level, and how to make floodplain management work at a community level. The ASFPM grants this certification only to those professionals who meet the requirements to reduce flood losses in the nation. Jason Boucher has earned his GIS Professional Certification. With this credential, Jason has highlighted his dedication to the GIS profession and his intensive understanding of geospatial concepts and application. “Jason is a dedicated and knowledgeable GIS professional,” said Brent Moore, Western Regional Vice President. “He brings innovation and problem-solving to rural communities in the Great Plains Region, with a keen understanding of how geospatial solutions can be used to solve critical challenges.” The certification process involves two main components, a portfolio, and an exam. Interstate Engineering is pleased to announce that Teaguean Knudsen, PE, completed the requirements for his North Dakota Professional Engineering license, earning him the PE designation by the North Dakota State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. Mr. Knudsen has experience in structural and municipal engineering, from design through construction. He is also a Certified Commercial Building Inspector. He has worked on projects including water system installation, sewer projects, site design, transportation, and public involvement.
